PoolnProp.co.za is a proudly South African, family-owned swimming pool business based in Benoni, East Rand, Gauteng. We provide complete swimming pool solutions for residential, commercial and hospitality clients, with services covering maintenance, renovations, construction, water treatment, heating, filtration, plumbing and pool equipment upgrades.
Our roots go back more than 40 years to the original PoolnProp.co.za Maintenance Team, established by Alan and Rentia. That foundation of practical knowledge, workmanship and hands-on experience continues to shape the business today.
In 2020, the family’s involvement in a guesthouse and swimming pool project in the Western Cape led to a new chapter for the original business. While operations continued on the West Coast, Gerton took responsibility for the Gauteng region and began expanding the local footprint while maintaining the standards and values built over decades.
In 2025, PoolnProp.co.za was formally registered under the next generation of the family, marking the transition into a more modern and technology-focused business. Today, PoolnProp.co.za combines traditional pool-building expertise with newer energy-efficient solutions, digital convenience and a growing range of quality pool products.
Built on Experience. Focused on the Future.
The swimming pool industry is changing rapidly, particularly as homeowners and businesses look for ways to reduce electricity consumption and make better use of solar energy. PoolnProp.co.za actively embraces these developments by supplying and installing modern technologies such as inverter pool pumps, inverter heat pumps, efficient filtration systems and smarter pool equipment.
Our focus is not simply to keep pools clean. We aim to help clients operate their pools more efficiently, reduce unnecessary running costs and make informed choices about maintenance, equipment and upgrades.
Complete Swimming Pool Solutions
Our services include weekly pool maintenance for homes, schools, complexes, estates and commercial properties, along with professional water treatment and chemical management. We also provide pump and filtration upgrades, solar and energy-efficient pool heating, plumbing work, minor electrical maintenance, renovations, re-marbelite, fibreglass relining, repainting, coping, paving, fountains and water features.
For new projects, we offer turnkey swimming pool construction, taking the project from initial planning through to completion. Poolside tree management and tree felling are also available where vegetation contributes to excessive debris and ongoing pool maintenance problems.
Our Mission
Our mission is to design, build and maintain safe, efficient and attractive swimming pools that provide lasting value and enjoyment. We combine technical knowledge, reliable service and modern pool technology to deliver practical solutions suited to each client and property.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become one of Gauteng’s most trusted names in swimming pool construction, maintenance and modern pool technology, recognised for quality workmanship, energy-efficient solutions and dependable customer service.
What We Stand For
Quality craftsmanship remains central to everything we do. We value honest communication, accountability and long-term relationships with our clients. We continually look for improved technologies and more efficient ways of operating swimming pools, while maintaining the practical experience and personal service associated with a family-run business.
Strong relationships with our suppliers, industry partners, team members and clients allow us to provide better products, technical support and project outcomes.
Trusted Industry Partnerships
PoolnProp.co.za works with established suppliers and professional networks including Waterwell, PoolXpert and Fluidra Pro Xpress. Through these relationships, we have access to a broad range of quality chemicals, pumps, filtration systems, cleaners, chlorinators, heating systems, automation equipment and other pool products.
These partnerships also support our commitment to modern, energy-efficient swimming pool technology and reliable after-sales support.
A Family Legacy Moving Forward
Under Gerton’s leadership, with David representing the next generation of the business, PoolnProp-Co-Za continues to build on more than four decades of swimming pool industry experience.
The business has evolved, but the principles remain the same: reliable workmanship, practical advice, responsible service and a commitment to looking after every pool as if it were our own.
PoolnProp.co.za combines experience, family values and modern pool technology to create cleaner, smarter and more efficient swimming pools.
